2017 Acura ZDX is a medium sized luxury crossover developed by Honda for its luxury Acura brand. The2017 ZDX was originally scheduled to be called Acura MSX. The ZDX makes its debut at the New York International Auto Show 2009 on April 8, 2009. The vehicle was also the first to be fully designed in the Southern California design studio Acura in Torrance.
The original ZDX concept was written by Michelle Christensen who called it “sports coupe luxury 4-door” and Acura says “blurs the distinction between Coupe, Sedan, and Sport Utility Vehicle.” although the Acura ZDX shares a profile similar to the Honda Crosstour, the two vehicles are not mechanically linked: this is based on the Honda Accord, while the ZDX is based on the Honda Pilot / Acura MDX.
Honda announced in a press release on October 10, 2012, that 2013 would mark “last year in the ZDX market as the Acura brand sharpens focus on new models and products. ” Five shots, fired by Acura between 16 and 20 March 2009, indicated a sloping roofline like the BMW X6, which has led many observers to believe that it is its direct competitor. Following the announcement on the ZDX vehicle nomination, Acura added the words “luxury four-door sport coupe” under each image.

Acura reduced costs by eliminating CMBS, ACC and IDS and replacing them with Collision Warning (Advanced FCW) Departure Warning Lane (LDW), redesigned radiator grille integrated parking sensors, automatic gradation side mirror and new dark wheels details This resulted in an MSRP $ 51,815) on $ 5k less than the previous year’s advanced model.
