Using the new Apple Eyes Free mode, drivers can access Siri Accord through your iPhone without taking your eyes off the road or hands off the wheel. The free function Eyes uses buttons mounted on the steering wheel to access the Siri voice commands, Honda says that reducing distractions while driving. Readout iPhone screen is also off so that drivers are not tempted to look at your device.

The base engine is a 2.4-liter “Earth Dreams” direct injection four-cylinder engine that is paired with a six-speed manual transmission or an all-new CVT. The dual overhead cams and Honda i-VTEC system, the engine generates 185 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 181 lb-ft. torque at 3900 rpm. A dual exhaust system available tee shots for 4 ponies, 1 lb-ft. With the CVT, the Agreement is rated at 27/36 mpg (30 mpg combined), while the manual six-speed dents those numbers to 24/34 mpg (28 mpg combined).
A 3.5-liter V6 is optional on higher spec Accords. Equipped with i-VTEC variable valve timing system Honda, the engine is rated at 278 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 252 lb-ft. torque at 4,900 rpm. A six-speed automatic is the only transmission available. Equipped Accord V6 returns 21/34 mpg (25 mpg combined) due to the variable cylinder management that cuts half the cylinders for highway cruising. A new 2014 Honda Accord hybrid equipment 2.0 liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle efficiently with two electric motors for total system output of 196 horsepower. Due to intelligent engineering, power-train does not require a conventional transmission, and the fuel economy is impressive: 50/45 mpg (47 combined).
