2017 Renault Koleos is a compact SUV (J), which at the Geneva Motor Show in 2000, and then at the Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris for the first time as a concept car back in 2006. The Renault Koleos 1st-generation Koleos was designed by Renault and developed by Nissan, with the majority of production comes from the Busan plant of Renault Samsung Motors. Facelifted versions of the Koleos is available a 2nd-generation in 2011 and 2013, during the 2016 Beijing Motor Show and uses the Renault-Nissan Common Module Family (CMF CD) modular platform.
2017 Renault Koleos Overview
The Koleos is an addition to the Renault compact SUV market, after the sale of the scenic RX4 and Kangoo, but it was never a true crossover SUV manufactured. 2017 Renault Koleos concept car in the media as long ago as February 2000. 2017 Renault Koleos 2nd-Generation (2016-present)
A second generation of the Renault Koleos 2017 model introduced at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show by Renault chief Carlos Ghosn. Despite a wide range rumor that the latest Renault SUV Maxthon would be called, the company instead decided to restore the name Koleos. The larger second generation Koleos use the common Module Family (CMF CD) modular platform jointly developed by Renault and Nissan and has similar vehicles as the third generation Nissan X-Trail and Renault Qajar. In some versions, the car three drivetrain options: two-wheel, four-wheel-drive mode to adjust the power and torque distribution between axles with traction and improve the standard four-wheel drive. Standard, the 2017 Renault has a 7-inch touchscreen, while higher trim levels have an infotainment system with an 8.7-inch touchscreen (called R-Link 2). Transmission is manual and automatic. According to Renault, sales will start in the third quarter of 2016 in some markets. The new Koleos went on sale in Australia on August 1, 2016.

South Korea: For the South Korean market, the Koleos is manufactured by Renault Samsung Motors (a subsidiary of Renault) at its Busan plant in Korea and sold as the Renault Samsung QM5 (H45).
India: Koleos his international debut in 2008 and is the first facelift received the vehicle since its introduction. In the Indian market, Renault launched its premium SUV Koleos on 8 September 2011. The popular Koleos registered a 51% YoY growth in the first half of 2011. It is currently being sold on five continents and in markets as diverse as Europe, Mexico, South America and Asia-Pacific. 2017 Renault Koleos is available with a 2.0 dCi diesel engine with a maximum power output of 150 PS @ 4000 rpm and torque of 320 Nm at 2000 rpm.
