The 2017 Citroen C4 Cactus is a mini crossover by the French car manufacturer Citroen in Spain. The 2017 Citroen C4 Cactus Cactus is considered a compact SUV even though it is based on the PSA PF1 platform underlying the smaller Citroen C3 and Citroen DS3. The Citroen C4 Cactus, production began in spring 2014 at the factory PSA’s Villaverde, Madrid. Sales started in France in June 2014,  a 5-door SUV in touch, feel and flair trim levels and is powered by 1.2L inline-three engine petrol and 1.6-liter inline four engine diesel engines.

In 2016, three additional trim levels to the 2017 Citroen C4 Cactus Series: Flair Edition, Rip Curl and W. In October 2016 production of the bright colors of paint Lagoon Blue stopped but was replaced by a new color Baltic Blue, which is more subtle. In Italy the W is known as the Total White edition; There is also a Total Black edition. Cactus sold in Australia, Malaysia, and China.

The Rip Curl is a collaboration with the surf brand with the same name and marketed as a more adventure-based vehicle, with its “Grip Control” feature that allows the driver to the car to adapt to driving on either tar, snow, mud or ice.

It works by ECU adjusting the power supply to each of the front wheels independently, based on whichever wheel more grip at any given moment. Apart from four-season Goodyear tires, all other changes are purely aesthetic, with ‘Rip Curl’ graphic and seatbelts orange among the differences.
