The 2014 Audi S4 is a high performance version of the A4 compact luxury sedan. Offered in single-level Premium Plus equipment available with an optional package known as the Prestige. The Prestige package adds adaptive xenon headlights, camera, key-less ignition and entry, parking sensors, the voice control, 14 speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, blind spot monitoring, an MMI controller mounted center console, Bluetooth audio connectivity, Smartphone integration Audi Connect, a navigation system and HD radio. If you do not want to pay for the whole package, navigation system and stereo Bang & Olufsen can be purchased separately.
However, you must select the Prestige package if you want the driver Assist package, including adaptive cruise control and improved steering system. The umbrella/shade option rear manual side power also requires the Prestige package. Other 2014 Audi S4 options include 19-inch wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, rear differential limited slip, full leather upholstery, side airbags for the rear seats, 18-inch wheels for all seasons, carbon fiber inlays interior layered aluminum/black wood inlays, and a pack of black optic exterior finish with high gloss black color wheels and unique 19-inch smoke.
2014 Audi S4 Interior
There is little to criticize in any Audi when it comes to interior design, S4 and cabin remains as clean and organized as the A4 on which it is based. Updates only for the S4 are sport seats support (either full leather upholstery or the combination of leather and simulated suede) steering wheel flat bottom and gray-faced instruments. Many of the controls are simple 2014 Audi S4. Infotainment functions are controlled through the Audi Multi Media Interface (MMI), which is surrounded by small control buttons that control the menus on a central display.

2014 Audi S4 Engine
The 2014 Audi S4 is powered by the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produce 333 horsepower and 325 foot-pounds of torque. All wheel drive and six-speed manual transmission are standard, while an automated seven-speed manual transmission is also available and serves as the option of automatic transmission in this car. Audi offers what it calls an optional sport rear differential, the essentially a limited slip differential that helps apportion torque between the rear wheels to improve the cornering line car. Worth buying if you like driving on winding roads.
In testing, a manual-equipped S4 accelerates from zero to 60 in a quick 4.9 seconds, which is faster than the six -cylinder sports luxury sedans like the Infiniti Q50 and Mercedes- Benz C350. However, the C63 is capable of performing this feat in the low range of 4 seconds. Fuel economy is EPA-estimated 17 mpg city/26 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined with the manual and 18 mpg city/28 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined with the S tronic. Although 335i, Q50 and C350 are more fuel efficient, the 2014 Audi S4 has better ratings than the C63.
2014 Audi S4 Security
The 2014 Audi S4 comes standard with anti-lock brakes, the traction and stability control, the hill launch assist, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. Side airbags for the seats are optional, and the Prestige package adds a rear view camera, rear parking sensors and the warning system of blind spots. This package also adds adaptive cruise control and includes a collision warning and mitigation function that prepares the brakes if it detects a possible frontal crash. In brake testing, the 2014 Audi S4 stopped from 60 mph in 109 feet, an average distance for this class of sedan with summer tires.
The 2014 Audi S4/A4 wore in government crash tests, receiving five out of five stars for overall protection combined with five stars in frontal protection, the five-star side-impact protection and five stars for rollover protection. In Insurance Institute for the Highway Safety tests, the A4 earned a top rating of good for their performance on tests, side impact and roof of frontal offset intensity moderate overlaps.
