The 2013 GMC Savana passenger van is a full-size offered in basic LS and LT trim levels well equipped. Three load capacities are available: 1500 and heavy-duty 2500 and 3500 All three are offered in (135 inches) in standard wheelbase configuration seats eight to 12 passengers. The model’s longer wheelbase (155 inches), with capacity for up to 15 passengers, is available only in the 3500 series.
Models LS Base equipped with modesty and oriented fleet, with wheels 16 or 17 inch steel, rear privacy glass, seats 12 passengers, passenger side doors swing, front air conditioning, vinyl upholstery, flooring rubber, OnStar and an AM / FM sound with two speakers. The LT model adds chrome exterior trim, the key-less entry, rear air conditioning and heating, cloth upholstery, full-length carpet, cruise control, power accessories, on-board computer, tilt steering wheel and mirrors only visor vanity.
Many of the standard features of the LT are also available as options on the LS model. Other important options include 17-inch wheels, alloy wheels, heated mirrors, rear parking sensors, a sliding side door, towing package, power front seats with six positions, Remote Start, Bluetooth, a navigation system and a system of sound with CD player, an interface and satellite radio / iPod USB. Also available is a rear camera with a screen mounted either inside the rear-view mirror or on the screen of the navigation system (if equipped).
2013 GMC Savana Interior
The biggest problems for the 2013 GMC Savana are unadorned interior and limited headroom inside the van. There are industrial grade hard plastic everywhere, and the basic features such as power locks and carpet are optional. As is typical in traditional full-size pickups, legroom for front seat is tight, and packaging of the engine on the results of short nose of the van in a very large and intrusive center console. 2013 GMC Savana Engine
The 2013 GMC Savana offers four engines. The 1500 series features a 5.3-liter V8 engine with 310 horsepower and 334 pound-feet of torque, backed by the 4-speed automatic transmission and the rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is the optional. The Fuel economy estimated by EPA, with either transmission is 13 mpg city / 17 mpg highway and 14 mpg combined. The rear-drive-only 2500 series with a 4.8-liter V8 with 280 hp standard and 295 lb-ft of torque, or the 6.0-liter V8 that generates 324 horses and 373 lb optional force-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy with 4.8-liter is 11/17/13, while 6.0-liter is 11/16/13.
The only rear-wheel drive 3500 series comes with the standard 6.0-liter V8. A 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V8 that puts out 260 hp and 525 lb-ft of torque is optional. Both 3500 series engines are connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is same as 2500 with the 6.0-liter. The V8 turbo-diesel engine is the most efficient of the two, but the mpg estimates are not available because the EPA does not classify vehicles weighing more than 6,000 pounds. Properly equipped, 2013 GMC Savana 3500 can tow up to 9900 pounds.

All 2013 GMC Savana passenger vans are equipped with anti-lock brakes, air bags, side curtain airbags and stability control as standard equipment. A rear-view camera, rear parking sensors and OnStar emergency communications are available as options.
