The 2017 Nissan GTR is a sports coupe car designed by Nissan Motor, heir of the Skyline GTR (R34). The new 2017 Nissan GTR is a conceptually different from previous versions, in fact, they were the “most extreme” versions of normal sedans, this is the fruit of a well-defined project aimed at building a true supercar. This invention is also expressed through the abandonment of the name Skyline in favor of simply by the number GTR.
2017 Nissan GTR Engine
The 2017 Nissan GTR is powered by a V6 engine, mounted longitudinally front position, the engine block and heads are made of aluminum, has a displacement of 3,799cm, features measures such as plasma coating of cylinders, the distribution is 4 valves cylinder driven by double camshaft per bank, is supercharged by two turbochargers IHI, it delivers a power maximum of 480 hp at 6,400 revs/min and has a torque maximum of 588 Nm constant between 3,200 and 5,200 revs/min. The entire engine block is assembled by hand as in the case of the Mercedes AMG.
2017 Nissan GTR Transmission
The 2017 Nissan GTR, transmission is integral, of the type transaxle: double clutch, the splitter box, the final reduction gear, differential limited slip were positioned in the rear of the car, in order to balance the weight of the front engine and ensure a distribution of weights 53-47%. 2017 GTR is the first car in the world to use a transaxle system with a dual-clutch gearbox.
The system allows to dynamically distribute the power from a 50-50% distribution between the two axles the whole rear-wheel drive. The gearbox 6-speed is operated by levers located on the back of the steering wheel, but can also operate automatically, it lets you change fast, in just 200 milliseconds.
2017 Nissan GTR Chassis and Aerodynamics
The frame is constructed of durable, lightweight materials such as ‘ aluminum and the’ steel -reinforced, this made it possible to hold the vehicle weight 1740 kg. All these factors, combined with a good aerodynamic, with a C x of 0.27, allow the new GTR to reach the speed of 310 km/h and reaching from standstill to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds. The dynamic qualities of this vehicle were also demonstrated by the evidence on the circuit Nürburgring Nordschleife that was the path with the time of 7: 26707, one of the best travel times between the cars homologated for road use.
In 2013, the preparer Nismo has developed its own version of the Nissan GTR. The 2017 Nissan GTR Nismo engine that equips is a twin-turbo 3.8 V6 with 600 hp and 652 Nm of torque. The suspensions were made in such a way that the driver is able to set them in three different settings: Comfort, Normal and R (the latter specification for the circuits). The aerodynamics has been improved with the introduction of a new aerodynamic package that includes carbon elements as the rear spoiler and the front and rear bumpers widened. As Dunlop 255/40 tires mounted at the front and 285/35 ZRF20 ZRF20 in the back section. In the interior, there is a steering wheel made of Alcantara and Recaro sports seats in carbon fiber. The sprint from 0-100 km/h in just over 3 seconds with top speed electronically limited to 317 km/h.
