The 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 is a full-size van, offered in a variety of ways before/the bed to activate both the two and four-wheel drive. Body styles include regular, long (double) and employees. Maximum towing capacity, well equipped, there is a generous well at 7,200 pounds. GMC estimates fuel economy to 18 MPG city and 24 MPG highway for rear-wheel drive. With 4WD, to 17/22.
The V8 5.3-liter, which is standard on SLT and optional on other Sierras, makes 355 hp and 383 LB-ft of torque. Well equipped, trucks with this engine can be ordered up to 11.400 pounds. With rear-wheel drive, the Sierras with a V8 5.3-liter engine will achieve 16 MPG city/23 MPG highway and 19 MPG combined (16/22/18 for 4WD), the EPA. Optional on the SLT is a V8 6.2-liter. GMC has yet to release its numbers of power, fuel economy and towing.
