The 2013 Ford Expedition is a full-size, traditional body-on-frame Suv models selling regular and extended-length. Trim levels include XL, XLT, Limited and the King Ranch. Aluminum wheels are the standard.  The 2013 Expedition is equipped with two seats and can seat up to 5 passengers in standard 2013 Ford Expedition XL trim. To get a seat in the third row, consumers need to choose at least XLT trim.

The 2013 Expedition can be equipped with leather, two-zone automatic climate control, heated seats and front, heated seats, Sync App Link, and premium sound system with HD Radio. Available are power-adjustable pedals, PowerFold third row seat, power tailgate and MyFord Touch technology with the mobile Wi-Fi and navigation.

Drivers of flex-fuel capable 5.4-liter V-8 engine generates 310 horsepower at the 5,100 rpm and 365 lb. ft. of torque at 3,600 rpm. A automatic transmission 6-speed delivers power to the rear (2WD) or all four wheels (4WD). The Expedition can be said that up to 9,200 pounds. One key differentiators for the Expedition is its independent rear suspension. Compact design offers more passenger space in the third row, and allows the seat in the third row to fold down to expand cargo space.

The 2013 Ford Expedition is equipped with the six air-bags, including side curtain air bags for all three rows of seats. More standard safety features are traction and stability control with roll stability control, trailer sway control, 4-wheel disc anti-lock brakes, and blind-side mirrors. Ford installation MyKey programmable safety features in all the Expedition, allowing parents program features such as top vehicle speed, the maximum stereo volume, seat belt usage Chimes, and other features that are designed to keep young drivers safe behind the wheel.

Drivers have the system SOS Post Crash Alert that activates air bag deployment, open the doors and activating the flashers risks and horn to help rescuers quickly find the car. 2013 Ford Expedition safety options include the front and rear park assist, wipers rain-sensing and the camera repairs.
