The 2013 Chevrolet Impala is a full-size sedan with seating for up to 6 passengers. Sold in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels. The Impala LS mounted on aluminum wheels 16 inches; LT has aluminum wheels 17 inches; and the 2013 Chevrolet Impala LTZ is equipped with alloy wheels 18-inch performance tires.

Upgrading to the 2013 Chevrolet Impala LT adds climate control dual zone automatic, outside temperature gauge, compass, and remote engine starting. The 2013 Chevrolet Impala LT trim also features rear seats flip-and-fold with a storage area hidden under the seat cushions and a trunk pass-through. A power sunroof is available in this setting.

A new deluxe edition package are also available for the Impala LT. Leather front seats, heated front seats, power passenger seat, Bose premium sound system, 1 year free satellite radio, universal remote control, auto-dimming inside mirror, and heated outside mirrors added. The deluxe edition package is standard on the 2013 Chevrolet Impala LTZ, with power driver’s seat with 8 positions, burglar alarm, chrome door handles and fog lamps. A power sunroof is optional.

A 300-horsepower, 3.6-liter V-6 engine is standard on the 2013 Chevrolet Impala, FWD through a 6-speed automatic transmission wheels. The LTZ is equipped with suspension setting for improved fit. According to Chevrolet, Impala achieve 18 mpg city and 30 mpg on the highway.

In crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the 2013 Chevrolet Impala received 4 (of 5) star rating overall. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has rated the 2013 Impala, but structurally identical 2012 model received a rating of “Good” for frontal offset protection and side impact ratings and “acceptable” for roof crush resistance and traction back injury prevention impact.
