BMW offers the 2013 BMW 1 Series Coupe in and convertible body styles and in 128i, 135iand 135is model series. BMW 128i models are equipped with rain-sensing wipers, heated power mirrors, outdoor, heated windshield Usher jets, automatic headlights, fog lamps and 17-inch aluminum wheels.

2013 BMW 1 Series Interior

BMW equips the 128i standard with leatherette automatic climate control seats, 8-way manually adjustable front seats, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, to Bluetooth connection, push-button ignition and a stereo with CD player/MP3, auxiliary audio input jack, USB/iPod connection and HD Radio. The 128i convertible is equipped with a power soft top convertible with a glass rear window and defroster, Mode convertible for the automatic climate control system, the body of the pass-through with ski bag for and rollover protection system instead of the side curtain air bags.

2013 BMW 1 Series Optional Features

2013 BMW 135i is equipped with a more powerful engine turbocharged, sport suspension, M aerodynamic body kit, xenon adaptive headlights Corona ring of driving lamps, headlamp systems Usher and LED taillights. Additional standard features include a spoiler rear, black chrome exhaust tips and 18-inch aluminum wheels and 8-way power front seats with 4-way power bar adjustment, memory for the driver’s settings, wood interior trim and a power sunroof.

The new 2013 BMW 135is includes another increase in horsepower and torque, plus a traction control and stability systems sport-tuned, performance suspension system, performance exhaust system and the difference in the rear better. Inside, the 135is includes heated sport seats wrapped in leather, stainless pedals steel, Headliner Anthracite and the M Sport steering wheels. Visually, the 135is is set apart from other models because of the unique double-spoke aluminum wheels, M Sport aerodynamics body kit and Shadow line trim.

BMW offers several option packages for the various 1 Series models and the contents vary depending on the model. Premium package adds leather seats (128i/135i), 8-way power front seats (128i), power sunroof (128i Coupe), wood or aluminum trim (128i/135i), the room lighting, Comfort Access keyless entry auto- dimming mirrors , satellite radio and a general garage door opener. A pack of Technology and three optional Average for Series 1, add a navigation system and reports real-time traffic, improve Bluetooth, BMW Assist telematics service and BMW Apps smartphone to combine.

The 128i and 135i models can be improved further by Weather Cold package and the 128i can be equipped with Lighting package. The 128i and 135i can also be optioned with the M Sport package that adds unique wheels, M Sport aerodynamic body kit, front sport seats, M steering wheel Sport, aluminum interior trim, Anthracite Headliner, Shadow-line exterior trim, sport suspension (128i)and a higher top speed. More options include metallic paint, automatic movement (128i) or Double Clutch Transmission (135i/135is), automatic high-beam headlights, premium surround-sound system and, on 135i and 135is models, Steering Active.

2013 BMW 1 Series Engine

A 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine which generating 230 horsepower upto 6,500 rpm and 200 lb. ft. of torque upto 2,750 rpm power to the wheels of the BMW 128i’s rear through the 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The more powerful 135i model gets the engine is turbocharged, 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 300 horsepower upto 5,800 rpm and 300 lb. ft. of torque from 1,300 rpm to 5,000 rpm. The siz-speed manual gearbox standard and 7-speed Double Clutch Transmission (DCT) with paddle shifters is optional.

The new BMW 135is models and has a turbocharged, 3.0-liter 6\six-cylinder engine, but generates more power-320 horsepower upto 5,800 rpm and 317 lb. ft. of torque between 1,300 rpm and 5,000 rpm. Consumers choose between a manual or DCT gearbox. BMW 1 Series comes standard with BMW Ultimate Service, which provides the free scheduled maintenance for the first 4 years or 50,000 miles of the ownership.

2013 BMW 1 Series Safety

The 2013 BMW 1 Series is equipped with traction control, stability control, hill-start assist and a 4-wheel disc anti-lock braking system with brake fade compensation, brake drying, brake stand-by, adaptive brake lights. The Coupe 1 Series is equipped with 6 standard air bags. The 1 Series convertible rollover protection system instead of side-curtain air bags. Safety-related features further include adaptive xenon lamps (128i), rear park assist sensors and BMW Assist telematics with a 4-year Safety Plan includes Automatic Crash Notification, which speeds up the rescue vehicle’s location when the air bags deploy.
